DEDICATION

This hyperBook is dedicated to all "Zen and ... (or in)" authors. First to Eugene Herrigel, author of "Zen in the Art of Archery". The last sentence in Herrigel's book is quoted below. I respectfully submit that this book continues on in some ways, where his left off.

Of course, there is no archery and no master in this book, so in many ways this book has nothing at all to do with Herrigel's.

When I remember Bob Pirsig (who wrote and sent me "Zen and the Art of Motocycle Maintenance") I must also cherish Nancy James. We were close.

Thirdly to Michael Green for his wonderful book, "Zen and the Art of Macintosh".

To other "Zen and ..." authors, more power to you (as my Father would have said), the more the merrier.

"...He must dare to leap into the Origin... : face to face he beholds the unbroken Truth, the Truth beyond all truths, the formless Origin of origins, the Void which is the All; is absorbed into it and from it emerges reborn."
