Pitcher Plants in Pt. Washington State Forest, FL, 2007 - Flash video

Several species of the genus Sarracenia live here. One or more of them are endangered. In this video I see at least four different kinds of carnivorous plants. The most numerous and dramatic are the white-topped pitcher plants. Video, April 20, 2007, by Caroling.

Using the above movie

To see the movie on this page, you need get Flash Flash 8+.

Flash allows you to zoom in and out to see details of different areas. To zoom in, hold down the Ctrl key on the keyboard. Click the movie, and choose Zoom in from the menu. (Not sure which browsers support this. Firefox 2.0.0.3 on Macintosh shows the zoom in menu but might try to add bookmark instead of zooming.)
