This is winter at Blessings Beach on 18 December, 2005. White sand drifts and gathers in crevices like snow in colder parts of the world. Clouds darken the sky. Crabs are nowhere in sight and won't reappear until spring-like weather urges them to reemerge. Often no one is here to wonder about the crabs.
