Cube faces are square. The colors of the cube faces cover larger areas in the EIE. But they relate directly to each other. Imagine that the EIE is cut in half and spread apart. Imagine the left front half of the EIE sphere bulging out toward you. Imagine that you are looking into the inside of the right back half of the EIE sphere. Seeing both front and back of the EIE lets you compare the opposite faces of blue, yellow, and red. The cube has eight corners that appear as eight white triangles in EIE, four in each half.
