EIEnor 3D model with Info Blocks net

To make a large EIEnor model, you need a base rhombicosidodecahedron which you overlay with five cube faces as shown in the picture above as an Information Storage Block. The image is 8.5x11 inches (216 x 279 mm) for printing on a standard paper size. As for the reason to do it, see the March 2 weB log entry.

I started with the large Rhombicosidodecahedron from this document: http://www.korthalsaltes.com/pdf/rombicosidodecahedron.pdf *. Print the net for each page. Print the info block image above for each page. Color as desired. Cut out the info block parts. You can glue them to the base pages now or later. Cut out the base model pages. Fold and glue or tape edges together. If you have not applied the info block parts, do that now.

I'm working with five colors to show how five brain cells synergize structurally. The colors are orange, yellow, cyan, blue, and violet. See five cubes expanding separately. You can use these colors in your model. See also a movie of a model.
