{Back to top of page}This drawing shows a way to create a transparent dome. The "flat" means a rigid plastic open-celled armature. It says 12" dome, but it would be 12' in diameter, if built as designed. Around 1966 I was yearning for an aura of colored light and dreaming of ways to build it.
Since heat melts plastic - how about blowing into flat with warm air, gently, slowly, it bulges. When you stop, it hardens.
