Solstice December 1998 QTVR introduction

So what is a QTVR except being yet another intimidating technology acronym? Well, yes, it is software that you must get from a disk or download on the web, taking time and energy. The good news is that the software is free and once you have it, many worlds open to you.

QTVR is a round space, with you in the middle. You twirl the space this way and that and zoom in and out from your center. QTVR is a centering, balancing, grounding experience. I'll do one new movie each day until the solstice.

I'm working on an image generator. So far it is rather crude, with jaggy 8-bit graphics. But the colors are great. Some of the QTVRs generated are now ready for viewing on the next page. You need QuickTime 3 for this new series.
