  • 1-06. Nuclear free zone sign, Auckland, Mt. Eden.
  • 1-07. Leo on bike against the sea.
  • 1-08. Bend in road, in hills.
  • 1-14. Preparing hang-glider, Bayley's Bluff, Dargaville.
  • 1-15. Pilot, friend, and hang-glider. Don and Murray Wardell, Dargaville.
  • 1-16. Glider over sea.
  • 1-17. Glider coming back over sea.
  • 1-18. Flat scene, mostly sky.
  • 1-20. Leafy Waipoua river scene, like postcard.
  • 1-22. Towering tree trunk-Kauri, in Waipua Forest.
  • 1-23. Green rolling hills, a sheep.
  • 1-24. Hokianga Harbor.
  • 1-25. Russell-the Blue Ferry.
  • 1-27. Road ahead filled with sheep. Day 15
  • 1-29. Dark evergreen trees against sky and sea.
  • 1-33. Church or school. Building has writing on it.
  • 1-34. Couple. Coromandel
  • 1-37. Another couple. Whitianga
  • 2-01. Ocean, beach.
  • 2-03. 2 bicyclers on road.
  • 2-04. Birds up close. Gannets near Napier
  • 2-05. Skinny guy on beach.
  • 2-06. Beach, hills to left.
  • 2-07. Richard, Caedmon, and other guys.
  • 2-09. Road midway up range of bush-covered hills. (See also a QuickTime panorama.)
  • 2-10. Richard with the Great Kiwi Beer on bike, building setting. Ng, near Rotorua (Oops, past that, bad guess by Carol)
  • 2-11. Bushy green hills beyond water.
  • 2-12. Grander hills beyond more lake.
  • 2-13. Leo jokingly guzzling 3 beers, laid back on bike.

  • 2-14. People diving from large grey rocks into water. Pelorus Bridge, SI. Jan. 8, 1988
  • 2-18. Leo running across a log.
  • 2-19. Lovely coastal inlet, Frenchman's Cove, near Torrent Bay and Anchorage on Abel Tasman track.
  • 2-20. Leo on one-person wide suspension bridge. Abel Tasman track, over Falls River, between Torrent and Bark Bay.
  • 2-22. Forest above, boulders below.
  • 2-23. Leo bare torso, close-up with mountain backdrop, not snow yet.
  • 2-26. Getting craggy, mist from left, from up there viewpoint.
  • 2-27. Leo kneeling with 4 guys. Geology marker in background.
  • 2-28. Modest brown house with gorgeous front yard flowers up close.
  • 2-29. Leo in cable pulley bridge car over Buller river.
  • 2-30. River meandering through generous slopes strewn with long thin mists.
  • 2-31. Dark river, roadway, and railing. Cave cut under bank.
  • 2-32. Grand coast, rocks, surf, sea, and sky, Perpendicular Point lookout, W. coast.
  • 2-33. Porarari River scene dominated by cliffs getting overgrown with bush.
  • 2-34. Dark foreground field, middleground trees, but sunny peaks with white, afar.
  • 2-36. Steaming pool in front of dense foliage under towering snow-covered crags.
  • 2-37. Peaky ridges. Last slide processed in July, 1988.
  • 3-01. Leo up close, in shorts on bike against bare but large hills.
  • 3-02. Dark fore ground admitting some view of rugged, snow-covered crags.
  • 3-03. Several mountain ridges,the farthest snow-topped and wreathed in mist.
  • 3-04. Close to the snow-topped peak.
  • 3-05. Rainbow rocks, 85K. Detail with moving reflection.
  • 3-06. Past the previous snow-topped peak.
  • 3-07. Self-portrait with peaks.
  • 3-08. Leo in pool with snowed peaks above.
  • 3-09. Mist spirit.
  • 3-10. Tent pitched below mist spirit.
  • 3-11s. Jaggedy outline of peaks at sunset.
  • 3-12. Leo on post in brown landscape.
  • 3-13s. Full moon near sunlit distant, fluted range over dark foreground.
  • 3-14. Large lake, brown shores, snowy peaks, high clouds, dazzling light.
  • 3-15. Leo & bike on flat road going off to left, Mt. Cook ringed in peaks afar.
  • 3-16. Snowy peaks, close over dark chasm of foreground.
  • 3-17. Mt. Cook, different view.
  • 3-18. Mt. Cook, different view.
  • 3-19. Mt. Cook, same as in next two photos.
  • 3-20. Leo/Mt.Cook, not as good as next.
  • 3-21. Leo/Mt. Cook. End of NZ bike trip. May 3 or 6.
